Grateful for Support
The Loving Hands Clinic wishes to thank and acknowledge Meijer’s, Wal-Mart, Nick and John Gjolaj of the Apple Tree Restaurant, Jeff Ryeson of E.G. Nick’s, Ted’s Sports Bar at the Best Western of Lapeer, Brian’s Restaurant, The Farmhouse, the Lapeer County Democratic Party, Strings “N” Things Hammered Ducimer Group, Nate Kreger, Yolanda Kalanquin and the Hospitality Team from Loving Hands Clinic, Pastor and Mrs. Gary Gillim of MapleGrove Church, members of their congregation who stepped in to help wherever it was needed, the Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce, and the many many individuals too numerous to mention, for providing food, financial contributions, kitchen support, and entertainment to the clinic’s 1st Annual Harvest of Hope Dinner.
The dinner was a success, 100 percent of the proceeds went to support the clinics mission of providing primary medical and future dental screenings care to the patients of Loving Hands Clinic free of charge. The Clinic is open one-day a week by appointment to medically uninsured and underserved residents of Lapeer County Area who are between the ages of 19-64 years old, and whose income is at 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
